The 2019 Annual General Meeting was held at Callington Cricket Club on Friday 8th November, followed by a dinner cooked by Natalie (thanks you!) and the now famous Mike Hugo pub quiz (thanks Mike!). Formal minutes can be downloaded by clicking on the link below.
The current committee were re-elected, and are:
- Chairman: Kevin Veal
- Secretary: Brian Martin
- Treasurer: Barrie James
- Team captain: Stephen Lees
- Head Groundsman: Cliff Boundy
- Member: Sylvan Pook
Adrian is the Club Child Welfare Officer, and it looks like Peter Godwin will become Our official umpire next season.
We plan to maintain and develop our relationship with Callington Cricket Club next season, while Kai Murray-Dustan won the Young Player of the Year Trophy, there were some great contributions from JJ Brenton (highlight was 56 not out at St Stephen) and Ben Alford. At the other end of performance the coveted Duck Trophy was passed from Brian Martin to Dean Organ.

Last Year’s Players’ Player, Adam Emmerson, narrowly missed out to Sylvan Pook, perhaps because his mother returned the trophy with strict instructions that she did not want it back this year! Thanks, Mum???? Never mind, we still gave him Batsman of the Year while the bowling trophy went to George Jefferis, star of our unlikely home victory against Liskeard.

And with the square renovations complete we now go into hibernation, except for JJ and Ben, who are off to South Africa for some winter cricket with the Cornwall Schools Team. Enjoy what should be a fantastic experience lads; for everyone else, see you in April!
